In November/December 2018, I spent a week in Sydney researching and photographing plans and buildings that John Bibb designed after he took over the practice of John Verge.
My first stop was at the Mitchell Library where I was given access to two large folders of his plans. Rather awkward to photograph while still in folders and very aware of their fragility I managed to obtain reasonable shots on my phone. Hopefully an expert will do better in the future.
Most of his remaining buildings are easy walking distance in the City Centre and others are easily reached by train. We also did a day trip by train to Kiama just to see the area where William and Janet McIntosh lived.

In March 2019 accompanied by my niece Vicky Bridgewater and her daughter Kate Lance who is also an architect I was able to visit and photograph six more John Bibb buildings to add to this site. Only Aberglasslyn House in Maitland remains as not photographed .
